Hace ya un tiempo que tenemos pendiente analizar esta tarjeta PCIe de doble sintonizador, pero entre las fiestas de navidad y algunos trabajos de última hora no me ha sido posible hacerlo antes.

En cualquier caso, más vale tarde que nunca  ;-)

Finalmente ya tenemos disponible el análisis a esta tarjeta USB de TBS denominada TBS5925.

Recordar que es una tarjeta profesional pero que todo el mundo puede comprar sin problemas.

Esta tarjeta tiene DVB-S/2, Q/8PSK, 16/32APSK, ACM/VCM/CCM, búsqueda ciega, capaz de capturar SR’s muy bajos, etc.

Hace poco el fabricante chino TBS ha dado a conocer su tarjeta de slot PCI-E TBS6928 con la novedad de incorporar en la misma tarjeta un slot para conectar una tarjeta de interfaz común (Common Interface) para poder visualizar plataformas de pago de forma cómoda y sencilla.

  • * Cracked versions will not work stable! We recommend you buying it while the price is still the same and cheap. There will be a price change soon.
  • * Please report on the DVB Dream forum if you run into any problem with Geniatech or Avermedia, we can probably fix that. We just need testers.
  • * If DVB Dream doesn’t display the codecs installed on your system, please manually add them into codecs.ini, you can also let us know on DD forum, so that we will add them into next setup files.
  • * AVer3D Satellite TV, AVerTV Satellite PCI, AVerTV Galaxy should work well now on DD
  • * For better performance on HD, make sure you use “Enhanced Video Renderer” in Video Options (Only if your graphic card has the necessary hardware acceleration) For SD channels, WMR9 is still recommended.
  • * SECOSD won’t work on DD now, it needs an update from its author

En breve vamos a tener la oportunidad de hacer una ‘review’ o análisis de esta prometedora tarjeta USB lanzada por TBS.

Ésta no es una tarjeta cualquiera, es una tarjeta de índole profesional y así lo vais a ver en su descripción:

Hemos marcado en negrita las características más destacables de esta tarjeta USB TBS5925.

Como podemos observar, es capaz de recibir señales moduladas en la ya omnipresente modulación QPSK y 8PSK, pero no solo esas, sino además 16APSK y 32APSK.

Ademas podemos apreciar que puede recibir señales con el modo de código CCM (Común standard), VCM y ACM.

También incorpora capacidad de Búsqueda Ciega y una tasa muy baja de recepción de Symbol Rate (Lo común suele estar entre un mínimo de 1000 Ksps o 2000 Ksps).

Después de un largo tiempo ya tenemos disponible una nueva versión de DVBDream, en este caso, la versión 1.5g.

  • *For UK Freeview HD, Japanese pay TV and some other AAC channels you will need to install a compatible AAC codec and set it up in DVB Dream video configuration. MainConcept and DivX AAC codecs seem to work nice.
